Reuben Heine began teaching at Augustana in the fall of 2005 as an assistant professor in the department of geography. His received a Ph.D. in Environmental Resources and Policy from Southern Illinois University with areas of concentration in water resources and geographic information systems. His most recent research involves the identification of causal mechanisms and corrections for flood-forecast models.
